Ford F150 Engine
There are two engine types offered for the Ford F150: 4.6L Triton 90-degree V8
SOHC SEFI 2-valves per cylinder and 5.4L Triton 90-degree V8 SOHC SEFI 3-valves
per cylinder, which are Ford's newest innovations in engines. The former offers
231 horsepower while the latter off ers 300. Fuel Delivery is either Sequential
Electronic Fuel Injection (SEFI) or Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection (SEFI).
Both have Electronic 4-speed automatic transmission which comes standard to all
Ford F150's.
